Stop in at the Western Arctic Visitor Information Centre located on Mackenzie Road for up-to-date travel information and resources.
Open late May to mid September.You can also check out The Welcome Center, located in Chief Jim Koe Park at 190 Mackenzie Road. Open 10:00am - 4:00pm in the winter and 11:00am - 6:30pm from mid‑May to mid‑September, the Welcome Center offers a friendly and engaging introduction to Inuvik. Browse Town of Inuvik products, pick up your Arctic Circle Certificate, and explore the covered boardwalk, hosting the Arctic Market every Saturday throughout the winter. Visitor services and public washrooms are also available on site, making it an ideal stop as you explore the community.
